Can anyone tell me where I can find wheat grass to put in my smoothies??? Also what else would be good in a smoothie besides wheatgrass? I use parsley and pears now.
You don't want to use wheatgrass in smoothies. The fiber of wheatgrass is difficult if not impossible for humans to digest. We are not herbivores like cows. The way to get the nutrients in wheatgrass is by juicing it or chewing on it and spitting out the pulp.
My favorite smoothies have bananas and nutbutters along with fruits - especially berries. I don't put any vegetables in my smoothies because of food combining issues. I don't feel that good when I do that. But I can mix fruits and veggies in juices because there is no fiber to be broken down.
