Hello everyone,
My name is Domniki and I've just signed on. I've been receiving the newsletters for quite a while and decided to sign on to the forums part of this site.
I am not a raw foodist although I have become quite aware of the lifestyle in the past couple of years.
Both my sister and I are very health concious. I am studying to be a nutritionist with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. It is great program and am very excited to finish and help people as much as I can.
I am 25 years old, currently working at a Real Estate Office which I enjoy but also look forward to moving forward.
I joined the forum as a way of attaining more knowledge and asking questions.
I hope that I will also be able to offer some help on this forum.
Signing off,
Domniki ;-)
Hey!!!!! You're going to be a nutritionist!? That ??s so cool! What do they teach you in that program? Do they teach different life styles? or is it a lot of biology and chemistry classes? I was looking into Michigan State's program and it basically is becoming a biologist but with food I guess. Sounds like fun but I wonder if they're just going to tell me that I'm nuts and I gonna die etc. Just wondering what you learn on your program. Also what is the difference between a nutritionist and a Dietitian? Do either of them deal with a lot of people and help regular people out or do they just make ice cream and pizza for recovering hospital patients? I think it'd be fantastic to deal with regular open people who are seeking advice but maybe the job I'm looking for doesn't exist. Thanks!
