I keep raw oat groats in my refrigerator and use a special roller. While raw grains aren't optimal they are so much less damaging than processed and cooked grains.
Many health food stores carry raw grains, if you can soak and they sprout, it means they are raw.

I too am a new member. As a Doctor of Chiropractic my philosophy is the power that made the body can heal the body. Still, I like to rely on available evidence based health care. The raw food diet has peaked my interest. Can you direct me too the scientific research that shows a raw food diet is more healthy than cooking your veggies?

There have been some good studies done on the positive effects of a raw food diet but the personal testimonies outweigh those studies by far. Plus funding raw food studies is not as easy as funding meat, dairy and processed food studies. There have also been studies on micro managing nutrients but there's been no evidence that taking those supplements have helped anybody live longer lives.
You could probably find some studies by googling. I also highly suggest the book 80/10/10 by Dr. Douglas Graham.
You already know that raw food is not damaging to a system, why not try going 100% raw for a month and record your personal results? i find that the best evidence to anything is based on personal experience over studies. Studies can't tell you what your own results will be.
As for if raw food being healthier than cooking your veggies, just look at the color and texture change of foods that have been cooked. 99.9% of the nutrients have been denatured by heat. How would a body use denatured nutrients better than fresh nutrients? Some 'doctors' say to cook food to make certain nutrients available, but they don't tell you that by cooking it you are making the other 99.9% nutrients unavailable. Would you rather eat a cooked tomato knowing that only 1 in 1000 nutrients are going to be more available to you?
