Oh Nuts!

Hello all,

I am allergic to cashews and I would like to know what would be the best nut sub. For example I found an awesome recipe for vegan ice cream, and the nut of course is cashew.

Look forward to reading your suggestions.

Peace!

what is ice cream? sweet and juicy...
what is fresh sweet fruit? sweet and juicy....

honestly..who can eat more than a handful of nuts and not get 'nut gut'...no one.

rancid nuts of anykind are serious health decliners..candida in a nutshell.

just eat sufficient fresh sweet fruit and youll be forgetting ice cream.

we can eat from nature or just recreate unhealthy recipies that are raw..

food for thought..i hope it doesnt drive you nuts..

I totally agree with you DR. Although not everyone is in that mindset or understands how fruits and fats work in the system. It can take a little while to get there.

The best ice cream - sliced frozen bananas run through a juicer with blank plate or a food processor. They don't even taste like bananas, but soft serve ice cream.

Or else macadamias are a similar nut to cashews.

correct dh, it takes about a week for us to know low fat is where its at.

all one has to do is eat their fav sweet fruit for a week exclusively.
a week of persimmon, melon, or mangoe or peach..whatever is abundance and delicious to you.

then at the end of the week eat all the nuts we care for. have some nut milk, pate and throw in some choc cheesecake. then we have all the info we need to forge new beliefs based on our own conclusions...

cos nothing becomes truth till it vibes with our common sense.

Great idea DR, maybe some here will be up to the challenge.

Some may need to use the lower sugar fruits at first.

I believe that the high amount of fat in the diet and bloodstream is the major issue, and some of those imbalances might need more than just a week to be healed.

You could probably substitute the cashews with walnuts.

I love this quote. The suggestion it was attached to looked good, too - good enough that I think I know what the results of such an experiment would be.

I would think another mild white nut would work, such as sprouted almonds, or unsprouted pine nuts or macadamia nuts.
