New and still researching

Hi, i'm new to the idea of a raw vegan diet but i love the idea. I'm 18 and still in highschool, i was a vegetarian my sophomore year and had to switch back to eating meat due to going to my dads every other weekend where he refused to buy me anything vegetarian so i basically starved, or ate his old bagged lettice. ( i felt like a mistreated rabbit) so since thats all over ( I'm no longer obligated to go to dads all the time) i really want to start in on this diet but i know when i was a vegetarian it was kind of a hassle to fix almost two seperate meals every night and sometimes the food could be expensive which really shouldent be a problen since i have a job. I think i'm rambling a bit so i'll get to the point, i'd love any advice about the raw vegan diet i'm soo ready to stop eating all this greasy unhealthy food and i'm ready to start being healithy and feeling better! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Hey, I am 19 soon going to be 20 so we are in the same boat. It is definitely different for rawfoodists our age because of pressures and our atmosphere with friends and such. If you have any questions hit me up on AIM (IshShibby) or email (markmal001@yahoo.com)

Go for it! I found out about raw foods when I was just a little older than you. I often think, man, if when I knew this was right all that time ago, if I had just gone for it completely and stayed with it how much easier and more amazing the last 20 years might have been. By the way, live foods are cheaper short term and long term. One organic piece of fruit has more nutrition in it than what most people eat in a week and you are better off eating that one piece of fruit. I have found that when eating live I eat much less because my body isn't craving food like crazy in attempts to get some nutrition and life force. Eating badly makes you just want more and that's more expensive. Also, health saves much money in the long run and if you eat live you will have so much energy that you can work two or three jobs and still have energy left over. Speaking of which.... I had three dates early this evening and have had so much energy that I painted most of my bedroom and now it's almost 2 am and my husband is trying to get me to go to bed..... so... good night.
