New Rawstylist from Europe

Hello,

Hereby i introduce myself; an european young woman gone raw. My goal is to become younger. Even though i am only 30, i feel i want to be 10 years younger by the end of the year, i believe it is possible and i know i will succeed.
i started the year with a colon-cleansing with herbs, therefore didnt eat for 9 days. since then only ate raw.except from salads i dont mix foods in order to create tastes, never been a kitchen-prinsess and never will be.
My colon is far from clean and i will go to a clinic for some flushes.
Right now my digestion is lazy, wich causes a burning pain when i eat too much in one time.
i tell everyone that i will eat raw one year only, they dont have to know yet i love this style to integrate forever, if they will notice my healthy looks in the future i will just let them come to conclusions by themselves.

Okay, my name is Juno
Good luck to everyone out there, creating your own fresh culture!

Welcome! What were you eating before your cleanse -- standard food or were you eating healthier than most? Sounds like you're off to a great start. I'm curious about what you call your lazy digestion, because I have problems, too. I felt like things cleared up a lot when I went 100% raw, but then I slipped and no matter what the percentage of raw is now, things aren't right. So I'm trying to figure it out. Anyway, welcome!

Just curious - why do you "want to be 10 years younger?" Age is just a number. I think it's far more useful to focus on the results you want, such as healthy-looking skin and hair, more energy, etc.

belly problem

Hello,

Previous i told about my digestion being lazy. Now i discovered i just need to eat slower and add more green leaves. The burning sensation started when i ate several cups of raisins on an empty belly. While still transitioning i drink Yogi-Tea for relief.

Ofcourse it is being healthy and energetic what i love to be. When i see people up to the age 20-25, they, well some of them, look so shiny healthy. maybe i just desire to be more careless, associated with that age. Since five years i devote my life totally to two beautifull little children. I will continue to do that but i have to learn to enjoy life myself too.
I hope i will become a blessing to my enviroment more and more, optimistic thinking and eating naturally and modestly will give more energy to be so. And I like these fine intentions to be packed in a fine package(face and body).
(Blessing: to develop your talents, so to do what you love and to spread beauty(arts),knowledge, inspiration and so on).

Right now my body is still adjusting, taking its chance to transform to be a healthier vehicle. Leaving me pale, with weak muscles, and a big belly(i am slim). I am really looking forward to a professional colon cleaning, to get rid of the toxins high speed. And to the spring, it is winter here. I have lived in Indonesia for three years, cant help my mind flowing over there many times a day.

Actually my children are my raw food teachers too. If they can choose cucumber over steamed broccoli, they will. They loved fresh tomatoes since small but never touched tomatoe -sauce. Only my oldest is addicted to bread. But the more bread they eat, the more they cough and have a dirty nose. In the future i hope to
have them eat dried fruits at school. Will start with that either in spring or after summerholiday.

Greetings Juno!

Thank you

Thank you!
I red one of the articles posted by you: 10 reasons why we overeat. Very clear.
But..can one overeat raisins?

Are there any very lazy-fast-raw-foodists out there?
If i see a recipe with more than 3 ingredients i hook off. Some recipes i like, but then i allready enjoyed the ingredients separately, together with my kids, before i even thought about making a meal out of them.
The children eat some cooked rice and an egg or so every night with their father, just to get that old fashioned feeling of being fed.
Except that i make salads, i feel so bonobobo...
