newbie hello and wanting inspiration
Hello
from Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.
I have been raw about 9 days now, only 100% for the last 3, but still aren't feeling "fantastic" so am looking for inspiration from others that do.
When I started going raw this time I still had a bit of a cold, so while eating all raw I was still taking some herbal cold tablets for the first couple of days and having 1 organic coffee a day, with sunflower milk and agave nectar. Then I switched to organic decaf, but have had no coffee at all for the last 3 days.
I miss coffee more than anything (sometimes get a bit depressed about it), and would even be happy to have a dandelion coffee with sunflower milk and agave, just for the comfort I think.
I am finding it really time consuming to make milk, cheese, smoothies then my lunch for work and my dinner etc after work. On the weekend I said I would go over and help my mum and sister with something but by the time I had finished making supplies to take over (in case they had a coffee, so I would have something with me), my sister had to go home to her baby.
So I just need some inspiration that I am spending all this time for a great benefit that I wll eventually get. How long does it take until you feel "fantastic" with lots of energy and don't need much sleep?
I haven't fully shaken my cold yet (just mainly a bit of sinus), but the weather is cold here for our climate at the moment. Ihave been getting little nerve aches and slight headache today (but haven't taken any panadol) . I just thought the cold and sinus would go away really fast when I went raw. I have had sinus problems for a while, which is one reason I am trying raw, and some skin problems as well.
So this message isn't all negative, I should add:
On the plus side, I have learnt to make sunflower milk and pate/paste as well as raw canneloni (pretty impressive) and it has helped me become vegan instead of just vegetarian.
If anyone has words of motivation for me, please send them in before I have a dandelion coffee! thankyou.
