I wouldn't limit myself in the beginning or put too much pressure on waiting in between meals at first. It gets a lot easier later on to eat 2-3 bigger meals a day and stay away from grazing, if that is what you want to do.
I personally think it is healthier in the long run to allow the stomach to empty out so the body's energy can be freed up to work on other things going on.
That is just my own opinion and experience though. I do agree that in the beginning I just want to eat all the time (I've had a lot of beginnings to know

) . After a while you'll be able to eat more at one sitting.
