Smile Hello all!!

Hello all,
I am just checking in. I am trying to introduce myself to more and more wholesome foods and to live healthier. I am starting by adding more fruits and veggies to my diet and cutting down on red meat. I have been eating more fish and introducing tofu to the family. My husband has been very good about the change in menus so I have to give that to him! LOL. I want my kids to eat healthy from the start also. Well I am looking forward to talking with everyone and learning from you all. Thank you.

Welcome Dashieldog
I understand how you feel about your family and yourself being more healthy. That's what started me on this path too.
It's been fun and the learning is not tedious. The menus have lots of variety and there is something for everyone. Enjoy and welcome.

Welcome!
I think that you're doing the right thing gradually transitioning yourself and your family together. I find that with my two year old, if I give her her favorite raw foods first, she doesn't eat as much of the other stuff. Sometimes she winds up eating entire meals of uncooked foods. Her favorites are berries, avocados, grated carrots and sprouts. Good luck!

I find that too. If I leave out cut up veggies and whole fruits these get eaten more often that stuff from the pantry that is out of sight. I have been experimenting with some raw dips and these have been great for my kids to get involved. They love to eat what they help create.
