I switched to an 85% raw food diet last week and 100% raw food this week. Initially, I felt incredible! However, the last few days have been another story. I am tired/letharic; have no appetite or hunger; have no thirst or desire to drink water (I used to be a big water drinker); and have adverse reactions (vomiting) when I eat all foods except vegetable drinks (I make them in a Vita-Mix). I am cognizant about food combining and frequently refer to the table in "Living on Raw Food".
Are these adverse reactions merely detoxifiation? I had expect the transtion to 100% raw foods to be relatively uneventful since I had previously eaten primarily a vegetarian diet (occassional fish) (note that the previous diet included a good dose of non-gluten starches). In addition, I have lost weight on the raw foods diet, something my skinny body can't afford to lose.
Please help!
