I ama newbie but....

I feel so incrediably great that I had to share. I have been "going raw" for about a year now. The last six months I would say I was 40 or 50 %. This last week I went 100% raw and I have never felt so flippin good in all my life. My energy is way up, like crazy up, my depression is like gone, I have had no digestive issues at all, and oh I must add that I LOVE SEX..lol.
I am in such a place of peace and and and....
It is so much fun cooking and eating raw, I just cannot beleive that I wasnt doing this all like years ago when I was suffering through so much.
But here is the downer of my post...
for all you expert rawers, should I be waiting for the other shoe to fall? I read about other people feeling like crap when they go raw and I am jsut not there. I am on the total other side of the coin.
thoughts?
pheen

You prepared yourself for a year!!!! You were detoxing and strengthening from those raw foods for a long time. There is no reason for you to necessarily ever feel bad again. And if you do.... it won't last long.... and you have the tools to change it.

As I've said on the site before, it has been my experience that about 20% of regular eaters that go all raw suddenly feel great right away. You aren't even a regular eater. You have been a raw foodist for a year and have recently made it around the last bend. I believe that the odds are definitely on your side.

Congratulations. Enjoy!!!!!

I've never heard of people feeling like crap on raw. I've heard of people feeling like crap on cooked though.

well thats awesome news...I am still feeling better and better and better. I have noticed a HUGE change in my BM's , but that is totally to be expected I am sure.
I feel so healthy and vibrant....and so connected with the earth and my land and and and. We own an organic farm here in ontario canada and I am telling you that I have never felt so rooted with this land as I have in the last week.
so many changes are going on.
love it.
I was watching a Dr.phil show yesterday about people with eating disorders and it made me so sad to see them battle with everything. I really think if they were introduced to a raw diet and some training to make raw foods, they would be in a totally different mind set. I think when you start eating raw it naturally seeps into the rest of your life and mindsets. Its truly a lifestyle rather then a diet.
anyway, I am rambling.

I totally agree Pheen!

I feel so much better on raw, I can't imagine going back. Everything feels better, flows better, etc. It really is a lifestyle....

Glad you are feeling it too!
