Since I'm pregnant especially and am not taking prenatal vitamins, I add quite a bit to my smoothies. I just started doing this 4 days ago and am not sure if it's helping yet or not, but I plan to continue. To my 70oz. Vitamix full smoothie each day, I add:
1 tsp. Maca
1 tsp. Mesquite
1 T. Nature's First Food green powder
1 tsp. Bee Pollen
1/4-1/2 tsp. Synergy Vitamin C
1 T. MSM
1/4 c. ground golden flax seeds
I've had alot of problems with being irritable this pregnancy while being raw, and that seems to have almost completely vanished since starting this regime of superfoods each day. I'm also juicing wheatgrass, 1oz. per day since Monday - so I think that is also helping. It feels good to FEEL GOOD, you know?!!
