I was just wondering about soy? i do not have access to goats milk and was wondering if soy was ok. or if nothing was better then soy? i was also wondering too about green smoothies where do you find recipies? how can i make them. And do you just use water in your smoothies or is there something else to make it more smoothies like.

I hope someone can help

Soy milk is not "raw" but there are benefits of soy for women that are worth researching. I like Silk brand. It is organic.

I also recommend Victoria's book "Green for Life" but green smoothies are very simple. Choose a green (spinach, mixed greens, etc.). Put several cup fulls in your blender with fruit of choice, add water and blend. You may need to adjust your fruit so that you don't feel like you are drinking yard cuttings. I personally like banana and strawberry with spinach.

Good luck!

i personally don't touch soy, what turns me off it is the fact that it is so heavily processed. i would say try almond milk, but since it looks like almonds will be unavailable raw come september, try making hazelnut milk, or brazil nut milk (easy because they require no soaking). jusst blend up some brazil nuts with water and anything else you like, i like vanilla and raw honey, and then strain for a delicious milk substitute that is truly raw and delicious.
