Sad I feel Yucky, oh so yucky, i feel barfy and tired and grey..

Blahhh... I've been eating about 50 to 75 percent raw foods for about a week and a half now. At first I felt great. Now I feel like I wan't to nap or barf or maybe both at the same time. I think I've been doing everything right. I got a lot of counceling from my guru sissy. But she's not answering her phone right now. I know that as my body realeases all the nasties I'm going to feel like this. But am I doing this right? I had lots of salad and fruits, drink enough water hopefully, been taking a tablespoon of vitamineral green daily. I also take digestive enzymes before each meal. I've been eating very antioxidant rich super foods, and having a tablespoon of Odo's omega oil blend. Should I just power through this? When is it going to stop?!? I did cut out meat and dairy totally except one serving of sushimi that I had a couple days ago. Help?

Thanks!!

what you're going through sounds an awful lot like a detox, (it seems you already know that). if you want to power through it quickly, i'd say switch to 100% for now at least and then cut back later if you like. or, to slow the detox process, you could eat some brown rice.
good luck!

Another suggestion on how to slow down the detox....

Cut out the superfoods and the greens.... they make you detox more.

Btw, you really don't know if you are detoxing or not. that is the problem with going at this with all guns blasting..... it's unscientific. If you add one new thing at a time then you can guage how your body reacts to it. Change everything all at once and you don't have a clue whether your body is going through a detox, really hates what you are doing and it's actually bad for you, or if you have an illness that needs to be addressed.

It is my experience that detoxing heavily is not necessary and makes the whole process harder in the long run. It took me a very long and sad time to learn this. I wish I understood it 20 years ago. I put myself through a lot of suffering and difficulties that I would have been better off to have avoided and I would have gotten further faster if I wasn't trying to force things so much or get things done faster. The old turtle and the hare tale might be cliched but is applicable.

p.s. By my name you can see that I gravitate towards wanting to go fast, but I'm married to a turtle and he has helped me to slow down and get there faster.
