Dreaming in the Raw
Has anyone noticed a change in their dreams or the way they are dreaming or remember more/less dreams since being raw?
I have noticed a huge change. I'm actually awake because I had a most bizarre dream and I remember everything like I actually lived it. I was in my own body (usually I'm looking at the dream like a movie playing), I interacted and had my own thoughts like the same if I were actually there. I can describe people's faces and colors and shapes, there were no sounds though. The past week I have remembered at least one vivid dream a night. This one I just had though was by far the strangest. Oh and one funny thing happened that had nothing to do with anything in the dream. In the middle of a place where there shouldn't be a street ice cream vendor... there was one! And I wanted one and went up to get it. You'd be so proud... I turned away and didn't get the pus on a cone!
Anyways.... So this is what I've been experiencing... Anyone else??

Wait until you start lucid dreaming! That's great fun. It's when you are dreaming, but know that you are dreaming and can consciously affect your dreams.
It's hard for me to know exactly how much raw effects my dreaming because there are so many other factors that make my dream life so full and rich. I depend deeply on my dreams to direct and guide and inform my waking life.
But it sounds like you are on the path to deeper connection with your subconscious world. Raw can do that. Bon Voyage and May God Bless your journeys.

I have always had the knack of lucid dreaming. I have been able to lucid dream 85-90% of the time. Now I have noticed I have very deep sleep that I don't lucid dream, is that bad?
Also, when I sleep very deep, I have noticed that I am still able to awake very easily if someone knocks on the door (average sound), is that really deep sleep or something else?

Oh I remembered something went I was out today. I can sleep with light on in the room whether it being day light or a lamp light, and oddly sometimes I sleep deeper and better. I could never sleep with the light of any sort on before raw. It had to be pitch dark! Amazing, eh?!

Wow, to lucid dream that much must have been real fun. I have a great time when I'm lucid dreaming.
The problem with something like changing a diet is that you never really know when something else changes around the same time if it really has to do with the change in diet or not. It might be a coincidence. The way people dream can change for so many different reasons. My dreams including how much I lucid dream changes quite a bit depending on a lot of different factors. Eating all raw doesn't seem to make me dream any differently in any consistent way that I can tell. Deep and long meditation practice does change my dreams - that's pretty consistent for me.
I did notice that I lucid dream more after waking in the morning and then going back to sleep so that I am not in a deep REM cycle .... so .... it would stand to reason that now that you are sleeping deeper that you lucid dream less.... at least it makes sense to me.
Do you miss the lucid dreaming???

Yes I do miss lucid dreaming!! I still do it, but no where near before. Or I am lucid dreaming and then the 'channel changes' really quickly and then I can remember the scene before until after waking up. I think this may be a coincidence. Cause I sometimes go through phases were I can't LD much and then somehow I get back on the horse.
I'll update you if anything changes.
I have heard that LD is difficult and like a 'gift' to be able to do it, but never understood why. Do you know what I am talking about?

Yes I do know what you're talking about. Lucid dreaming is a gift. It is a gift that you can use wisely or just ignore - like so many other gifts. This might be hard to explain. You have a connection between your conscious and unconscious minds that few people have ever experienced. You can use that connection to heal, to learn, to evolve or to help others or you can just be entertained by it. You can interact directly, in a conscious way, with rhelms most people never get to affect consciously. Most people are simply "at affect" on the other side. You can have an affect. Lucid dreaming is a powerful tool in the hands of a wise and careful person and just a curiosity in someone that doesn't understand what they have or doesn't care.
I'm not sure if I expressed that adequately. If I didn't I'll try more and different words to get out a hard thing to verbalize until you really understand what I mean if you so desire it.

That is another big issue to be discussing on a message board. A lot of that depends on the kinds of dreams that you have and how you relate to them now. It depends on how far along the path you are.
I find that when I am lucid dreaming that I can approach that which I might not want to inside myself and deal with it directly no matter how scary it is because I know that I am dreaming. That way I don't have to manifest such learning in 3 dimensions which is so much slower and more difficult to move through.
Let me try to give you an example. The last time that I lucid dreamed I came upon something that was really a scary and which in real life I would have run from with all my might, but knowing that I was dreaming I was able to put out my hands and send beams of light into the image/creature dissolving it into oneness.
I'll give you another example. For years I had a recurrent dream about being harrassed by a very strong cartoonish kind of strong man. I would punch and punch him but my fists would just go into him like rubber. Finally, one day I was lucid dreaming and he showed up. I was able to think to myself, "hey I'm dreaming, this is a part of myself that I am fighting!" So instead of punching I consciously went up to the character and hugged him. He disappeared and never returned again.
Here's another example. Once when I was lucid dreaming I was flying through one of the most beautiful scenes imaginable in the high mountains. It was a dream about my evolution. It gave me a sense in my body and permanently etched in my mind the nature of what I was trying to achieve and the glory of it. At times when I get lonely to be like others I remember that dream and the ecstacy of being on this path even if it does get lonely some times.
Another example that is many experiences rolled into one description. Many times when I am lucid dreaming I go up to characters and even objects and ask them directly what they symbolize in my dream. They answer. I get a deeper understanding of myself.
I also will ananlyze my dreams in my dreams. This is very useful because I wake up knowing the importance of this particular dream since I took the time analyze it more than once and I wake up with understanding.
I also can tell myself when a dream is psychic.
I can work on issues I have consciously in my dreams.
I can go back to sleep and ask myself to lucid dream on the dream I just had so that I can work through an issue within my dream. I can wake up and go back to sleep many times and have the same dream working away at a new outcome or a better understanding.
If I am conscious and working on something for myself or for another person I consciously understand what I am being shown and change something in my waking state.
I soul travel for other people in lucid dreams. I have helped dead relatives on the other side. I learn things for other living people on the other side that can help them with their lives. I do healings that help people while lucid dreaming. I learn about what is going to happen with the collective and work to change that both in the dream state and in waking states.
Here's probably the biggest gift of lucid dreaming. When you have experienced a lucid dream you start to understand that what you think is reality isn't necessarily reality. What we live in in our dreams seems real but is a product of our minds. This same understanding can be translated into a thought/feeling process about our every day waking life.
Well, that's enough for now.
