Struggling

Hi,
I am really struggling. Last week I was totally bad. I ate out with my son 3 days in a row and had chips and salsa, then I had a women's group on sat. and I had cheese for the first time in a month and cake and caffine. I just could not seem to stay/be committed to my diet. I kept telling myself that it's progress not perfection. But, now for 2 1/2 days I've only had smoothies and and apple, grapefruit, or a little bit of nuts in between. The smoothies are: apple juice, banana, strawberries, coconut flakes, goji berries, soy protein, and vitamineral green. I've gained weight. Maybe, it's just last week catching up with me. I'm trying not to be weight focused but, I am and I'm depressed, now. I really want to make a strong committment to this way of living and am rebelling myself I guess? I dunno. If anyone has been through what I'm going through and has any suggestions and would sure love any help I can get. I'm trying to stay positive and think positive. I am in a battle with myself it seems.
Thank you
Jen

Are you eating vegetables? Do you have recipe books?

The more raw I eat, the more raw I want -- especially when I'm eating a lot of vegetables. Take the time to make a good mixed salad. Red onions, olives, radishes, cabbage, pea shoots or sunflower sprouts are a good flavor and texture boost. I wouldn't worry about the dressings so much until after you get in the habit of eating plenty of raw veggies.

If you're eating cheese, add some raw cheese to your salads.

Keeping marinated vegetables around may also help.

The two foods that seem to best curb my cravings are avocados and coconuts.
