Twice in two days, two different men, in two different places, have told me that I am "too attractive to not be wearing a wedding ring."
Okay. Well, although I have been married for 27 years to the same man, I have not replaced a wedding band I lost about 15 years ago. I have never been "hit on" in my life. I never dated in high school, married the only man who has ever asked me out, and have never had a single incident since.
So what's up? Am I suddenly, miraculously, more beautiful now?
For the record, I've always been a geek. I was a nerdy child, with a major interest in science. I'm a total bookworm, a scientist and researcher in nutrition/living foods. I'm not what you would call "attractive" to men. I have ethnic origins, Spanish/Italian, so I'm not your typical American beauty. I look sort of "foreign (Greek? Maybe?)
Why all of a sudden? Why now? I'm not young anymore (46 years old) have given birth 4 times (4!!) and am a grandmother of 6! (Yes, 6!!) I just have never seen myself in this light before. If you are curious what I look like, you can go to my website (below) and click on the page called "Meet the Nutritionist." Of course, this is me about 3 years ago, so I don't know if it is a valid example...
Anyone else suddenly experiencing a dramatic increase in their level of attractiveness?
(and I am going out to buy a wedding band ASAP!)
