Healing from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety.

Hello all!!

My body has healed from fibromyalgia (extreme pain), chronic fatigue, IBS, hormonal imbalances, PMS, chronic bladder infections, yeast infections, dandruff, a suspicious looking skin growth (cancer?), depression, panic attacks and probably a few more things that I am forgetting. I was really falling apart after 36 years of eating a junk food vegan version of the SAD.

The changes that I've noticed are: much more energy,
more motivatation and enthusiasm for life, much better
moods, a deeper sense of spirituality, a greater
appreciation for nature and colors, more sensitivity
to chemicals, a greater appreciation of simple
flavors, dandruff has gone away, painful swollen
breasts every month around my period have gone away,
excessive underarm persperation has gone away, bad
breath and body odor has gone away, I've lost 60lbs
efffortlessly, I have no more pain from fibromyalgia
(unless I eat something less than ideal--even if it's
raw--something dehydrated for example), clearer, more
vibrant skin and eyes, whiter teeth. I feel very
optimistic about my future and actually look forward
to every day, which is new to me! :-)

I have noticed that you must keep making improvements
to your diet if you want to keep feeling great, or at
least my body has demanded it. It only wants the
best!! This is hard to accept sometimes when I
occasionaly want to eat less than ideal food (a complicated, badly combined recipe for example), but it's not that hard when you work on the emotional issues that are driving you to eat.

I want to encourage everyone to do this!!! The rewards
are so great and I promise you that if I can do it,
anyone can. As a former compulsive eater and self
acknowleded junk food addict, I am living proof that
anyone can change if you are motivated enough!! :-)

You can see my before and after pics on my website: www.rawhealing.com

In health,

Audrey

What a wonderful and inspiring story.. thanks for sharing! I have several of the problems that you were experiencing before going raw. I hope I'm successful and can leave behind the days of feeling so bad.

Audrey that's great!

Audrey your story is extremely inspiring! How did you get past all your emotional ties to cooked food, as well as the tastes? I love fast food but I really want to be raw! I have tried the past couple of months but none of the recipes I made were very good, and I don't want to just eat salads all the time. Any advice?? Thanks!

How awesome!

I am newly diagnosed with fibro, and it's what drew me to raw foods. Can I ask about what you eat and why dehydrated food doesn't work for you? I'm fairly new to changing my diet to raw, but I'm making some great progress. I certainly don't feel awesome, but I havemuch better days than I used to.

I'd be interested in more info about how long you've been raw and how the fibro responded.

Thanks!

Melissa

My mom had polymiosytus which is a very rare form of athritis. It effects the muscles and joints. She was diagnosed with it in 1996 and recovered, but I don't think she truly recovered. She stopped taking steroids that her doctors were giving her and told them to "shove it."

I talked to her and she says she is not comfortable going 100% raw, but I know raw can change her life and make her stronger.

Anyways, I want to know if there are specifc kinds of juices/smoothies/soups/foods that people with these problems eat that make them feel better.

Thank you!

Hello all,

The best way to eat to heal chronic conditions is a very simple, fresh diet of mostly mono meals of fruits.

Complicated recipes and dehydrated foods while delicious are much more difficult to digest and therefore take precious energy away from healing.

Blessings,

Audrey

What do you mean when you say mono meals? Do you mean like just having bananas for one meal and apples for lunch, instead of mixing them into recipes?
