Hi Ben - pot & booze - have you noticed they have both been "cooked"? Anything cooked (pastuerized, steamed, boiled, fried etc) have a high probability that they are highly addictive and highly damaging.
I don't know what is comprehensible on *this* forum but I stopped drinking altogether over a year ago (before I had a half a glass of wine very rarely). Sometimes I do see conversations about "raw" wine and what is and not "allowed".
Groups of raw people will always have differing opinions on what is acceptable on a raw diet, but I always look for the truly healthy ones - the raw athletic ones in great shape, not the raw "sitting-around-and-writing-books-about-cacao, supps & superfood" ones.
Even though a forum may not allow conversation of a certain type there still may be a lot of folks embarking on a raw food program yet holding on to old habits of drinking/smoking/caffeine, etc. There are also those who eat all raw "except" some meat or dairy, or some suchi or what-have-you.
You have to decide what works for you.
