Question Superfood & Supplements
What do you take?
Does anyone here take E3 Live? I can't wait to try that.
I've found I really like hemp protein powder lately, I don't feel as flighty, in a good way.
I used to like msm, till I realized it was making me feel bad for some reason.

Oh, I'm glad you brought this up! I am not taking any supplements right now and haven't for a couple months. Does anyone know what might be something good for someone like me (new to raw foods) to take? There are so many supplements out there! Especially considering the cleanse I'm about to embark on, I wonder what would compliment the cleanse or if everything I need might be a part of the cleanse???

Elsaraw, sorry I forgot to ask: what is rE3 Live? Also, the protein powder - is that a common staple amongst raw foodists?

I'd wait till after the cleanse, I don't think you're supposed to take anything with it... ???
Afterward, you should definately get some green powders. I love the ones that Healthforce Naturals makes. http://www.healthforce.com , I take their Vitamineral Green, Greener Grasses, and Spirilina. Also their Vitamin C. I also like a product called Just Barley (Whole Foods) and a powdered wheatgrass from Green Kamut. I mix these in my water all day at work, they are feel very good.
And don't taste too bad (except the spirilina, yuck, that has to go in green smoothie, really bad, shudder)

Val, http://www.e3live.com ... every person I've ever encountered RAVED about the stuff! It's really, really expensive. I can't wait to try it.
I've talked to a lot of raw foodists who like hemp protein, and a lot who don't want it. It is full of amino acids, omega 3, efa's and fiber, that's why I like it. I felt a difference after adding it to my diet a month or so ago.
