Dehydrating Disaster

Ok, maybe disaster is too strong of a word.... but I tried to make crackers from a recipe in the Raw Food Real World book. They came out really dry and crumbly and so now i need to fix them and try to dehydrate them again or something. Any ideas? It came out more like crumbly granola than crackers. How do I redeem them????

Not knowing your recipe it's hard to give you any concrete advice, but if the crackers aren't flavored in a way that precludes sweetness being added, you could try using the crackers as a base of some raw cookies. in which case you could add medjool dates and/or honey which have gooier and stickier textures and make a thicker product that will hold together better.

That's now a bad idea. I was actually thinking of adding some water and ground flax meal, redydrate and then dehydrate again. Maybe I'll so somw sweet and some savory!

Thanks for the input
