Question to RawGuru Re Cacao Beans!
Please tell me about these purple cacao beans!

It seems they are "more raw" than cacao nibs, so I am very interested!

What do they taste like? Can you give any comparison?

Do tell...!!!!!!!!

Hi Michele,

The cacao beans tastes less like chocolate. They have an earthy taste, slightly more bitter than the cacao nibs. They are also softer in texture because of their moisture.

Try them out, I will have them for a limited time only.

Alex, another question!
The other day I saw a post or article written by you on this website that I cannot find now! It was about how the cacao nibs are heated to 140 degrees and not really raw.

Please tell me where I can find it. I have been doing searches and it is eluding me. Thanks!
