Ah, alas Vej, I'm afraid that even if I could teach you to dance over the internet your young friends would laugh you out of the homecoming as ridiculously old-fasioned.
I can brainstorm with you however. Here is an idea: You would be amazed at what you can find at the library and on the internet. There might be a dvd or video with instructions on how to do more modern dancing than I could advise you on. The internet also has to have some videos and chat rooms on dancing. You could ask for advice and ideas on a chat room about dancing. I know that you live in the country so I'm not very sure of how they dance in your particular area - therefore it might be a good idea to search out the nearest place where the people your age go to dance - even take a trip if it's a ways off - and then hang out and find someone that looks like they know what they are doing, copy them, or ask them to teach you. There are rarely schools for dance as it's happening right now or I'd say to go to one. Sounds like your best best is finding someone to help you that is your age and if you can't then you can hopefully find a video.
One thing is certain - if you are going to have an angel for a date your dancing must be heavenly.
