Ha! If 17 year old girls open your heart, by all means we'll make the unembodied creator of all that there is a 17 year old girl just for you Vej! lol Btw, not too long ago a young child-bearing age goddess was considered by most cultures to be the progenerator of everything if you study mythology or ancient art. But then again, I'm sure that those ancient cultures would have had to agree with me that anyone giving birth would have to be considered a woman. But girls you like so I have no problem with God and Girl, Girl as God.

I thought I worshiped girls a little bit much. It would be tough to give birth to a planet though. To give life, maybe, but I've been in to many evolution classes to believe one pretty girl made everything lol. And to believe we should take a Sabbath day off after she made an entire universe doesn't seem fair when we only take notes in class or type on a computer eight hours a day! Maybe if you make a planet in a week then you can take a day off. And as far as the plums go.......I don't think they makes sense but I bet She (God) wouldn't approve either. I should find more on the science of the alterations though. Oh one more thing! Wouldn't it make sense that the first religion was the right one and all the other ones are just spin offs of the original sitcom? But then we'd have to worship like 20 different gods then cuz the original religions were polytheistic. That's a little of my rambling.

Actually, as a student of religions, there are only two major contemporary religions that claim the existence of God and aren't polytheistic: Judaism and Islam. Christianity claims Christ as a God so the Moslems consider that to be worshiping another God besides Allah. They do like Jesus as a prophet however, but one of the major concepts of Christianity is Christ as God. So, it is not purely monotheistic. Buddhism doesn't claim a God, Either does Taoism. The polytheistic cultures in which those religions sprang or spread to had a tendency to interpret them in their own polytheistic terms - but in their pure form and actual teachings, they are not polytheistic or even God-centered. Hinduism is the most diverse and allows you to worship the all as a concept or in many forms as Gods if that works for you. Am I forgetting anyone? So basically, most of the world is still quite without God or polytheistic - and with many more than 20 Gods to keep track of I'm afraid.

Well, that's my rambling right back at ya.

hmmm this Jesus dude was a pretty popular guy. How does Buddhism and Taoism claim to be a religion then? What do they believe? What kind of occupation do you have? And thanks for your rambling! It's great! I just figured God decided one day that he was gonna be in kid form for a while and then he said, "Tadaa!" so I thought there was only one God but we beat him up and stabbed her so she's not to happy with us. But I always wondered why everything happened way back then and why isn't there anybody walking on water and parting sea's now? So I guess I'm kinda of a Hinduist now then huh cuz of my "pretty girl" theory. I just think it's more pleasant to meet when you die then a big ball of smartness. But thinking about that makes me feel weird.

Hey Vej, You said: ??I just think it's more pleasant to meet when you die then a big ball of smartness. But thinking about that makes me feel weird. ??

I would feel weird thinking about that too since I can ??t make head or tails of it. Huh????

I ??m afraid that I wouldn ??t be the person to give a definition of Buddhism and Taoism in a couple of sentences and do them justice.

??Why they are considered religions ?? ??. Here ??s the definition of religion from dictionary.com:

1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2. a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3. the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
4. the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5. the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.
6. something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of fighting prejudice.

Both Buddhism and Taoism are at the least a set of beliefs and practices regarding at least the nature of the universe. Certain sects of the religion incorporate rituals and practices (meditation for instance).

Some people can make even raw foods into a religion.

As to my occupation ?? I am always occupied! I have a long list of occupations - most of which are only interesting to me.

I meant that it's kinda weird to think about what's going to happen when you die cuz it just feels pessimistic. I wouldn ??t want to worship raw food lol. I know what you mean. I think it ??s a good idea to believe in morals. They just might have something there. I just might stick with my Pretty Girl God though. lol Thanks Greenbunny you ??re a lot of fun.

Ahhhh, now I understand. Ya know some sects of Buddhism actually meditate on skulls to impress on them the impermanence of life and everything in it. It's supposed to make them live more in the Now/Present. But yeah, I guess that would be a bit depressing.

It is fun chatting away with you Vej.

May "the young girl" bless you.

Oh geez that would be weird and scary to me. It'd be like, "I'm sitting on Joe and Sarah while I meditate." ooo then you'd meet them later when you died and Sarah would say, "thanks for sitting on my head for 20 years" lol I don't think Sarah would feel to good about that. I don't want anybody sitting on my head when I die, I'd bite them if they tried lol. Hey I asked a pretty girl to homecoming yesterday and she said yes! I'm pretty excited about that. I doubt that she's God though cuz she's a little goofy but a lot of fun. Hey what's a "Dorothy"? is that like the girl from the Wizard of Oz? Oh maybe that's your name! Hi it's fun chatting with you too! But I should be doing my homework lol.

Goofy and lots of fun. Sounds like a lot of Gods I've studied.
Congratulations!

I guess I let the cat (or maybe I should say bunny- the green bunny) out of the bag by accident and signed off with my name by accident.

Signed,
Dorothy, the green bunny
