favorite recipe and info book is gabriel cousens rainbow green live-food cuisine. i am receiving jubbs recipe book in the mail along with his newer work so that may sway my opinion. i saw david wolfe at the natural products expo west and picked up his new edition of the sunfood diet. i dug the new version. totally updated, still not fully backing the 33-33-33 ratio dry weight deal. kinda awkward. but the other information was truly inspiring and gets me in a good state of mind to continue on the path of optimal nutrition.
Informative: DW's Sunfood book because it was the first I read and got me here.
Recipe: I'm not a big food creater (Yet!) tend to eat simply.. but I do like to drool over Raw Food, Real World
Most people don't know but most books are processed by heat!! lol
Dave's book is very usefull but I was skeptical because it didn't say Dr. David but anyway I find it easy to follow.
yeah, david wolfe's book looks really good...i've never read it, though i've been told i should. i'm with you elsaraw on raw food real world! i get way too hungry when i look at that book!
I've only been raw a few weeks so I haven't read a lot of books yet but I do have Alissa Cohen's Living on Live Foods and I love it. I refer to it daily for recipes (there are tons and they're super easy) and for encouragement. Also included are many testimonials from people who have overcome great obsticles to become raw and are thriving because of it! I also have her DVDs and love them, as well. It's very helpful to actually see her make some of her recipes, instead of just reading how to do it. I definitely recommend it to those new to raw foods. It certainly made it a bit less confusing for me.
Beautiful on Raw by Tonya Zavista (sp) is the best I've read so far. Her book is full of good info, well researched, and really spoke to me. I've heard her speak, she is so cute! like a little Russian doll!
