Good for you getting off the pill! Great decision.
Don't do anything that has to do with your body temp. Too risky. You can do that but only with another form of protection.
The best form of birth control imho is the diaphram or a similar object from the internet that is universal size and can be ordered on line. I forgot the name of the one I got. To be graphic, the one that I ordered on line was like a diaphragm, but much more rigid, harder to get in and out and a bit painful to do so because of its rigidity for me. But you should try it for yourself because it might fit you differently. The good thing about it is that you don't need a doctor and don't have to change it if you gain or lose weight like you have to with the diaphram. But the diaphragm is a wonderful thing. Easy to get in and out, flexible, and very dependable if used properly.
Get off that pill and stay off! There are already proven long term side affects. You can't go messing with your hormones like that and not have side affects. Whatever you do, don't get any shots or patches or any of that nonesense. Get a diaphragm and use a condom on top of it. That will be double safe and keep you from getting any diseases. If your partner won't use a condom say no or there is another product that you can insert in yourself that will protect you. I am in a long-term monogomous marriage so that wasn't as important to me so I didn't register the details but there are products. There is a female condom I believe. No method is 100% safe so when it was a real concern for me I used 2 methods - no actually 3. The temperature and cycle watching methods are a good first line of defense. If you know you are ovulating you shouldn't have sex even if you are using 3 forms of birth control on top of it. The other times you can use two or one form to be safe. There is no need to poison yourself with the pill or have an IUD (ugh!) installed or anything like that. Barrier methods are the way to go.
Don't worry about bleeding right away. Cycles change when raw. If a woman is all raw long enough she stops bleeding. Blood coming out of your body is due to toxins. Naturally we just omit a clear liquid. It's one the benefits of being all raw. Painless childbirth is also a benefit of being all raw. We weren't meant to suffer so. If you want to get biblical, that was the punishment we suffered in leaving the garden of eden when we took what God gave us directly from the trees and ate it raw. With Adam having to grow our food and raising of animals and cooking we Eve was cursed to have painful childbirth. That comes from not eating the way we would in the garden.
It might take a while to get your hormones back on straight. I would highly suggest eating chocolate. Very balancing in that department. Another thing to do would be to tap on your thyroid gland are at the bottom of your neck... just below that cavity at the bottom. That can help re-balance hormones. There are some herbs that help women's hormones to balance if you want to know.
