So my bf has decided to try going raw with me for one week, so I have been trying to come up with some fun entrees to eat. I came up with these a few nights ago and they were a hit.

Marinade:

1 Tbsp Braggs
1 Tsp Raw Tahini
3 Tbsp Honey
3 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 clove garlic minced
Dash of pineapple juice
1 Tsp Ginger
1 Tsp Cumin
pepper and salt to taste

Mix up the marinade by whisking with a fork. Add and subtract ingredients to personal tastes. I prefer mine to be a tangy sweet sauce kind of like a teriyaki.

Filling:

Mushrooms
Strawberries
red chili pepper
zuccini
green onions

I chop these up or jullienne them finely and put them in the marinade to soak in the flavor a bit.

Guac:

1 avacado
Tbsp salsa
salt and pepper to taste

Mix well

Add ons:

Bean sprouts or other sprouts
sliced olives
sliced mango

Now comes the fun part.

Take one large iceberg lettuce leaf and smear on some guac first. Then add the filling. Then add a generous portion of mango and the rest of the add ons. Roll up and eat to your hearts desire!

I've heard that it isn't something you want to eat a lot of, but I wouldn't say its toxic. I'm sure in moderation, its probably ok. Nama Shoyu is probably a better choice, but I didn't have any.

Your recipe looks super yummy! Lots of nice veggies and fruits.

Can you provide more info on why Bragg's is toxic?

Thanks
Metta
