Hi ava88! What I can tell you about my own experience it that it really takes time. I've been about 5 months without eating any kind of meat and I'm really trying to go 100% raw now but I've still got a lot to learn. I used to feel really guilty when I ate cooked foods but now I've come to understand that food should be a part of my life and not the center of it. I will become a raw foodist, I am truly convinced this is my path but I don't want to become an obsessed crazy person. Whenever I can't get raw foods, then I eat whatever I can (except meat, because it has come to the point where I don't like it anymore) and what I have seen is that even though it doesn't give me the feeling of eating raw foods, it is easier for me to process it because I think that my body is much more efficient now.
