It shouldn't be hard to find support. It may be easier to eat "normal" raw food around people such as fresh fruits and veggies as opposed to strange superfoods and concoctions, although it can be fun to expirment.
Many people eat raw with a cooked and/or SAD family, like myself. It does present its challenges. For me, I get support but the temptations around me are harder to deal with as I cook for my family.
Have you tried meet up? There may be a group in your area.
