I AM NEW TO THIS "RAW FOODIST" LIFESTYLE... BUT CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONSIDER AN OPTION OF A SLOWER INTERGRATION. I THINK IT IT A PERSONAL JOURNEY FOR US ALL AND TRYING TO FLICK THE SWITCH AND THEN MAKING YOURSELF WRONG FOR EVERY CONTRADICTION TO YOUR NEW EATING PATTERNS WONT HELP YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY AND I BELIEVE YOUR MIND COULD DEFINATELY BEGIN TO REBEL.
I'M NOT SURE IF YOU ARE DOING THIS CHANGE TO BE WELL OR LOOSE WEIGHT BUT EITHER WAY I THINK IT WILL BE MUCH EASIER IF YOUR MIND IS ALIGNED WITH YOUR ACTIONS.ON MY JOURNEY I AM BEGINNING TO BELIEVE/ SEE THAT THE CHANGE SHOULD START WITHIN, AND YOUR ACTIONS SHOULD BE AN EXPRESSION OF YOUR INWARD EVOLVOLUTION. (I HOPE THAT DOES NOT SOUND TOO AIRY FAIRY... )
I HAVE READ A GREAT BOOK LATELY WHERE THE AUTHOR TALKS ABOUT RATHER CONSTANTLY ADDING MORE FRESH FOODS INTO YOUR DIET, RATHER THAN FOCUSSSING ON TAKING YOUR FAMILIAR FOODS AWAY ALL IN ONE GO. HIS THOUGHTS ARE THAT YOU WILL BEGIN TO WANT THE RAW NUTRIENT RICH FOODS NATURALLY AND SO THE INTERGRATION WILL HAPPEN, JUST NOT OVERNIGHT, AND PROBABLY WITH FAR LESS RESISTANCE AND FRUSTRATION. I AM RESOLVING TO ADD SOMETHING RAW TO EVERY MEAL OR MAKING EVERY SECOND MEAL OR SNACK RAW JUST TO GIVE MYSELF SOME TIME TO EASE INTO THIS SO THAT MY MIND DOES NOT REBEL AND THINK I'M WITHOLDING OR PUNISHING IT. I'M HOPING THAT I WILL BEGIN TO FEEL THE BENEFITS WHEN I EAT A RAW MEAL AND THAT POSSITIVE ASSOSIATIONS WILL BEGIN TO HAVE MY BODY CRAVE RAW INSTEAD. JUST MY THOUGHTS. GOOD LUCK.
