I'm not a doctor, and I have not personally dealt with high blood pressure problems. If it were me, I might consider going in stages.
  • Replacing breakfast with a quart or two of green smoothie.
  • Cut out meat, then dairy and eggs, giving time to adjust after each. Susan Havila, a vegetarian advocate says that when you eliminate meat or dairy, you reduce your heart attack risk by up to 50%. Eliminating both creates a cumulative effect. I no longer have the book, so I don't remember the exact percentage.
  • Only allow cooked food at supper, and only after a large salad.
  • Start sprouting in large batches and/or juicing.
I also feel that chiropractic and yoga are very important elements to achieve better health. Many swear by colon therapy, I have no personal experience with this, yet.

I hope your mom finds her answers and can find better health.
