I had heard that magnesium and potassium really helps with cramps, and saw that pineapple definitely has both. It also contains bromelaine which helps with pain - in fact years ago they used to inject bromelaine from papayas into herniated discs to heal them. It didn't just stop the pain, but actually caused the herniation to reverse! Unfortunately, the powers that be put an end to that.

There are lots of things that have magnesium and potassium - bananas for one. I have been having good luck in that area with avocados, and plan to load up on them next time it's my TOM, hopefully avoiding the cramps in the first place.
