Actually, you can get B-12 from entirely vegan sources!
It is found in:
Alfalfa leaves
Barley grass
Bee pollen
Comfrey Leaves
Concord grapes and raisins
Ginseng
Hops
Miso (unpasturized)
Mustard Greens
Nutritional Yeast
Plums and Prunes
Sauerkraut (unpasturized)
Seaweeds (especially kelp and nori)
Spirulina
Sprouts (all)
Yogurt
Wheatgrass
I eat 1T of the superfood Pure Synergy daily, which has a tremendous amount of B-12. I just read the jar and it says 1T has 185% of the RDA of B-12. All vegan.
