You are so right healthyme, I totally agree we should not beat ourselves up. What I wrote was based more on experience - not trying to tell you or anyone to beat themselves up over a cooked slip-up.
I have been up and down the raw path for many years myself and have, from experience, and many times I might add, let holidays and functions deter me. I've stopped beating myself up about those things long ago as well.
I know that living raw in a cooked world has many challenges and this is just one of them. There is a point where we will prefer to eat raw instead of cooked and that is a wonderful place to be!
