Any change in your diet can create digestion and excretion issues, so it is better to take it slow for sure! I'm not sure what you are doing right now, so I donn't know if my information will be helpful, but I generally add just a bit (2 T) ground flax seed to recipes to start and then add more if need be as time goes on. So you could add even 1T to salad dressing, or 2 T to a raw carrot bread (which is what I did today), or 1 tsp to a smoothie. I wouldn't start with making flax crackers, which contain a great deal of flax and if you aren't used to it..... can create havoc in your system.
