Hi There, and welcome!
First, if you don't want ot use your name here, that's ok.... can you think of some nickname that wouldn't identify you that you could use? Many people here do that... it's just a suggestion since it's easier for us to know who we are talking to if we can attach some kind of name to you.
I have fibromyalgia as well, which is what brought me down the raw path. My health is really important to me, so I started working diligently looking for holistic things that would help. My chiro recommended a mostly vegan diet, and I went looking for a new cookbook.... well, I found "Raw Food, Real World" and it was so interesting that I bought it and started researching. That was about 2 months ago, and I feel so much better! For me, a gradual transition was best. My body reacts to everything, so I wanted to listen to it as I worked on this new lifestyle and healing. Many people go "cold turkey" as well, so you'll haved to decide what is best for you. I have been sick for 3 years, didn't know what was wrong and found a doctor 2 months ago that dioagnosed me with fibro. I started going back to the chiro once I had a diagnoses, and it has helped tremendously.
I was already gluten free before finding this diagnoses, and that helped in and of itself. I'm not sure what your diet is now since vegetarian covers a lot of ground. I have found that a very very clean diet is vital to my healing.
Welcome again... i just wanted to share a little bit about myself since we have some of the same health issues to deal with.
