I actually found that we can get goat and cow's milk from a local farm here. And yes, I think it's a share option, which is fine.

Greek Yogurt is thick and high in protien. It's still only made with fermented milk, so it's strained or something I think. Sort of like making yogurt cheese. But i have tried unsuccessfully to make it at home... so I would buy it here and there. It's really expensive. At least for my pocketbook....

I'm still investigating getting raw milk here and whether I should make room for that in my budget. We'll see!

I make flax meal from whole flax seeds in a coffee grinder. I haven't soaked and dehydrated them though... maybe i can check that out this weekend. I'm making a bunch of things this weekend..... I've turned it into "Melissa's Test Kichten"... I'll let you all know what I come up with!
