Hi Melissa

How was the game?

It's good to hear that yr doctor had a good sense of humour and seemed pretty cool! i've heard fibromyalgia mentioned a lot in relation to people going raw but have only been able to grasp bits and pieces of what it actually is... may be time to Wiki it. It sounds pretty full on though, so it's great that yr feeling so much better in such a short while.

i do completely agree with you about letting kids make their own choices. Even though i was vegan, i left the choice to my son and he chose to become vegan when he was 6. He's now 11, eats brilliantly (maybe a bit too fond of the treats - although as greenbunny pointed out, with raw treats it's no longer a bad thing: he'll think it's the best decision i ever made!!) and is open to try new things, so i'm sure, like you said, that he won't pass up a tasty looking raw option!

My partner has offered to do most of the cooking, especially while i practise new recipes. He's been great. He's vegan too (was vegan when i met him) and likes salads to accompany other things, so i think he'll be up for trying my experiments aswell.

Let's just hope i don't put them off eh?

Haha, i've always been a cruncher too - when chopping veg to cook with, i'd end up eating so much that i wasn't as hungry for dinner. My son and partner would tell me off for not eating enough.

Thanks for the reply and happy healing
