I tried the greens smoothie someone posted here with bananas and oranges and kale. Except I didn't have oranges, so I used carrot/apple juice, ginger, cinnamon, and bananas along with some kale. I don't have a vitamix, and it just came out grainy and not a very nice color either. I was thinking spinach might be a little easier on my plain old blender, I think I'll try that next. I haven't tried parsley in a smoothie, but it sounds good. I just picked up some ground hemp seed, so I think I'll add some of that today for some protien.
Does anyone else have a blender that works well and isn't so cost prohibitave as a vitamix? I won't be getting one of those for awhile.
