body's pH
Does anyone know much about body pH? I've been learning a bit about it but some of the information is a little confusing. From what I understand, it's very important for our over-all health. I bought a roll of testing paper but the numbers vary quite a bit. I tested my first-morning urine and it was 5.8 then I immediately tested my saliva and it was 7.6. Can someone explain why these numbers are different? The information that came with my testing paper indicates that a reading of 5.8 (for urine) indicates my body is lacking sufficient minerals. The information also states that a reading of 7.1 - 7.5 (saliva) indicates the body is non-deficient and healthy. So, how can one reading say I'm lacking minerals but another reading (taken at the same time) indicate I am non-deficient and "healthy"? Seems like it's kind of a contradiction?? Can someone please explain? THANKS!
