When I went Raw I did it all at once without really knowing what would happen. I'll I had to go on was this little willingness that told me I had to change right now. I had been taking a drug called depakote (for years) and usually a ssri with it. I got really sick from the cleansing process. Infact I had really really strange dreams and night sweats for 3 months. I felt great in the daytime though. I lost 40 pounds. I got really thin. The dramatic, and unflattering weight loss didn't bother me though because I felt a genuine hapiness.
I woke up most days with the taste of medicine in my mouth. I speculate it was the effects of it leaving my body. A lot of my detox feelings most likely also came from the cleansing of 6 years of Chicago's binging nightlife.
Then what happened? Well then the detox symptoms vanished. Then I felt better and more aware than I had any previous mental equivelent of. It continues to get even better to this day. I'm muscular now. My body weight is normalized. I look 5 years younger instead of 15 years older.
The biggest surprise was the spiritual component. I wasn't aware of anything like that before. Suddenly I wanted to stop watching the news and stop reading the papers. The new me didn't want to be distracted anymore
