Wow. Thank you so much for the warm welcomes and LapisRose, thank you especially for those links. I'll be sure to check them all out.

For the past few mornings, I've been eating yellow squash chips with bean sprout dip for breakfast/lunch and I can't get over how good I feel! Energised, alert and ready to face the day head-on. The best part: no massive heartburn and no feeling like I'm trying to digest a brick. I feel like I'm even less bloated, too. I think I could really fall in love with this.

Since my husband knows that I usually eat what my body asks for, he hasn't thought it odd that I'm eating more salads lately (I haven't really told him what I'm doing and won't until I get my head firmly around this lifestyle). The other day, though, he shocked me by telling me he wants to buy a juicer for us for Christmas and would I kindly read round to find what juicer would be best suited for us to have. Mr. meat and potatoes wants to start juicing? Knock me over with a frawn of fennel, miracles _do_ happen (this was the same man that announced that under no circumstances would he be reduced to eating twigs and branches like I do - how people do change ).

Me mum's still the clog in the clockwork but I'm working on her to be sure. She's convinced that the meals would be far too complex for her and the ingredients would be much too hard to find. I know where she is, she can at least find raw nuts and good produce but it stuns me that there are those who would rather die with their addictions than to be liberated and live. I'm still working on finding the right red flag that turns that bull around and I shall find it by hook or crook.

I have a question (ok, two questions): Why do people soak their nuts and would anything happen if the nuts were soaked longer than the recipe called for?

Keep on RAWking!
