Family first
Your attitude and life sound sane to me. I never was around a live food community to experience the ??rawer-than-thou attitude ??. I ??ve just been around a lot of individuals on my travels. Perhaps I ??ve actually been lucky? Seems silly to compete. Also seems silly to pressure oneself over food and also seems ridiculous to me to believe that food can cure all ills. Sure live foods makes logical sense and goes a long way ?? but it isn ??t everything. I think of myself and say that ??I ??m into live foods ?? which I am ?? but I ??m certainly not all live at the moment. I ??m heading that way because right now it works. I seem to be all live for moments, some longer than others and the more smug I get with myself the more my inner self seems to revolt. I ??ve been craving salmon and eating it and now I ??m going to add raw yogurt (mostly because of your wonderful website) and I also eat eggs when my body wants/needs them. So I am not a vegan either. Have been, but am more into giving my body what it asks for now. Food is supposed to support life. The old question: do you live to eat or do you eat to live? If you eat to live you do what works for the highest good of the whole of your life. It seems like that is what you have done. And I agree. My family comes before any diet. If it ??s a struggle, painful, miserable or lonely, it ??s not healthy. I ??m lucky that sneaking in is working because for me it ??s fun and they seem to enjoy it and appreciate it. If there was resentment I certainly wouldn ??t do it. Sounds like you are a thoughtful and reasonable person that has had lots of experience. It ??s good to make your acquaintance here.
