Eating raw cheese was very helpful when transitioning into raw foods for me. Instead of eggplant parmigiana, a little raw cheese on crackers went a long way to keeping me raw. I found however, that later, after being raw for awhile the cheese made me feel worse than eating just fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. Avocado seemed to take care of the same craving better. My impression is that it will all depend on your particular body needs at a particular time. I would definitely go back to eating raw cheeses if I craved them. They certainly are yummy. I did best on goat cheese by far. Less fat and more easily digested. One thing that I found was that you have to be very careful with the raw dairy to make sure it's properly made, stored and not rancid. My body would tell me right away when it wasn't good at the first bite. Just didn't taste right or smell right. Gabriel Cousens seems to think that most of the problems that people have with raw dairy is what the animals are fed. If you can get it from someone who raises goats and feeds them a varied organic diet all the better.
