Thank you, mork! I started a blogspot site (mainly for my own tracking) to document the raw journey. There's a link to it in my profile. I have a friend who is a certified life coach who told me that I should make daily commitments and write how it felt when I did or did not meet them. That will be on there (updated weekly), my motivation for going raw is on there, and anything else that comes up will go there as well.
My fairly easy transition to raw can actually be attributed to reaching my breaking point with my former diet. I've gained 20 pounds since August 2005, eating a lot of heavy cooked food. I have struggled with nausea on a daily basis as my body tells me that it doesn't want that food anymore.
I got to my highest-ever weight and then something just went off inside me and said
enough. It's been easy to adjust to this diet because I'd had more than enough of the other food, and because my body isn't constantly nauseous anymore.
It's definitely time for me to do this...took me long enough to get here...I'm 35!
I'm glad there are places like this, Raw Reform, and Raw Family to go to for guidance.
Renee
