I also gained weight when I started a raw diet and it took me several months to figure out why. I was eating a lot of dehydrated things, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. Yikes! I finally figured out eating mainly fresh fruit and greens was the way to go (so simple!). I lost weight pretty easily and am continuing to lose.
